Publications play a large role in the mission of the ICA&CA and are overseen by the Publications Committee, an active volunteer group made up of ICA&CA board members, staff, Fellows, and members of the Council of Advisors. The committee, currently chaired by architect and avid reader, Brian Connolly, regularly reviews re-printing possibilities for texts that are no longer available, as well as proposals for new books to be included in the “Classical America Series in Art and Architecture.” This important series is a legacy from Classical America which the ICA&CA now vigorously maintains today. The budget each year includes grant subsidies for either authors or publishers selected to be part of the series.
To support the series, The Classicist BookShop allows readers to review new releases, the full roster of titles in the series, and a recommended reading list. To facilitate awareness and ordering these indispensable titles, the ICA&CA partners with Amazon.com. The Amazon.com link from The Classicist BookShop allows for a portion of proceeds from all sales made on-line to benefit the Institute.

The Forum
In addition to The Classicist, the Institute produces a newsletter, The Forum, which allows the ever-growing body of members of the Institute to keep up with the Institute’s activities as well as with each other.
