The collaboration of renowned British garden designer Gertrude Jekyll (1843-1932) and English architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944), is considered one of the more perfect partnerships of garden designer and architect. You’re invited to explore some of their extraordinary projects in an online panel discussion, “Lutyens and Jekyll: Architecture and the Garden Landscape.”
The Ohio & Lake Erie Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Arts has obtained this in-depth program from The Lutyens Trust America. A panel of well-known designers and historians walks the viewer through Lutyens and Jekyll’s works. There are stunning photos of their vast gardens followed by an overview of current projects that applies the techniques of Lutyens and Jekyll in the search for the magic in architecture of landscape.
