Prince Charles Talks About the Importance of Appreciating Historic Design

House Beautiful profiles the Award for Emerging Excellence in the Classical Tradition, Including HRH The Prince of Wales' Introduction

The ICAA was honored to host past and present winners of the Award for Emerging Excellence in the Classical Tradition for a special panel discussion on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, which included a gracious introduction from His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. In addition to complementing the achievements of the 2020 winners, Gerald Bauer and Austin Tunnell, he reflected on the significance of the collaboration between the ICAA, The Prince's Foundation, and INTBAU, and expressed his optimism for a future in which emerging talent will continue to be nurtured, and thoughtful architecture and design will enrich communities and beautify the places in which they live.
