This Summer, the ICAA was selected by Sotheby’s as their cultural partner to produce engaging programming to accompany Treasures from Chatsworth: The Exhibition. Showcasing a selection of works from the Devonshire Collection, the exhibition was a rare chance for the public to view one of Britain’s most famous art collections in the United States.
The ICAA ran a diverse program of lectures from some of the most influential voices on Chatsworth, including architect and designer Ben Pentreath, biographer and historian Dr. Amanda Foreman, former editor of Country Life Clive Aslet, and preservationist John Phibbs.
For those who could not attend the lectures in New York, each lecture was filmed and can now be enjoyed in their entirety below. Whether you are interested in Chatsworth’s iconic landscape or famous residents - there’s something here for everybody to enjoy.
Additional thanks to the Kathryn M. and Ronald J. Herman Jr. Charitable Foundation for their support of this lecture.
