Patti Poundstone is an illustrator and licensed architect, specializing in hand-rendered illustrations for architecture, interiors, and landscape projects since 2008.
Learn, or refresh your knowledge, of basic perspective tools to enhance your freehand drawing skills. This class will focus on the basic elements of one-point perspective, and techniques to add interest and perception of depth to your drawings. Through hands-on drawing exercises and image examples, the understanding of basic perspective elements should improve your ability and confidence in sketching- whether it’s communicating your design ideas, or urban/ travel sketching.

She has taught sketch drawing classes in the Los Angeles area for various design firms, and through the ICAA, Southern California Chapter, including instruction for the ICAA New Heights program.
She serves on the board of the American Society of Architectural Illustrators, and has been a three time recipient of an Award of Excellence in the ASAI annual Architecture in Perspective competition. Additionally, she serves as a Juror for the annual UCLA Extension Landscape Architecture program student show.
