Hosted by the Washington Mid Atlantic Chapter's Emerging Professionals, L'Enfants
Please join the ICAA WMA and L’Enfants for a day of measured drawing at the DC Court of Appeals. We will have a brief introduction on the lineage and techniques of measured drawing. We will also have examples from this building and will talk about possible areas to study and draw. Instruction and guidance can be provided for those new and wanting to learn the art of measured drawing. All are welcome!
The DC Court of Appeals building is a beautiful example of Greek Revival architecture in Washington, D.C. It was designed by Elliott Woods, who also served as the Sixth Architect of the Capitol from 1902-1923.
