Hosted by the Louisiana Chapter
Please join the ICAA Louisiana Chapter and architect C.J. Howard for a virtual half-day studio introducing the techniques of Beaux-Arts analytique sheet composition & watercolor rendering. The class will cover the basic skills of analytique compositional layouts and the rendering of its discrete components using The Shadows on the Teche as the architectural subject. Topics to be covered include the use of compositional scale, balance, and variety and how the elements in an analytique receive light, shade, shadow, and reflected light to produce a compelling formal rendering.
