Hosted by the Southeast Chapter
What makes a building beautiful – or more specifically, which elements of the built environment does the brain recognize as beautiful?
Built Beautiful is a feature-length documentary that examines these ideas as well as those embodied in the book Beauty, Neuroscience & Architecture by Donald H. Ruggles.
The film features leading experts from around the world in the emerging field of neuro-aesthetics as well as academics, researchers, architects, and interior designers. The film is produced by Barbara Bridges, Donald Zuckerman, and Donald H. Ruggles.
Please join ICAA Southeast in partnership with the Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University for the screening of Built Beautiful: An Architecture & Neuroscience Love Story. Co-producer Donald H. Ruggles will introduce the film. The screening will conclude with a Q&A moderated by Rene Salas of Historical Concepts.
