Hosted by the Ohio & Lake Erie Chapter
The Walton Avenue Atelier was founded by artist, Adrian Eisenhower to offer art instruction in classical methods of visual representation with an emphasis on drawing, color and composition. Mr. Eisenhower will provide a short demonstration in cast drawing while giving participants exposure to the rigorous training in observation and rendering offered by the Atelier. Pencils and paper will be provided. Following the program, guests are invited to view the studio’s current exhibit, “Drawn to the Figure,” part of an inquiry into the significance—or lack thereof—of figurative work in today's visual landscape. The Atelier is located in the historic Hildebrandt Building, an early 20th century food processing facility which has been transformed into a center for artists and foodies that is worth a visit all on its own.
