Hosted by the Southeast Chapter
You are cordially invited to join the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art SoutheastChapter, for a tour of historic and architecturally significant private homes, designed by some of the preeminent architects and designers of the ICAA.
Two examples of the houses we will explore are the William T. Gatewood house, an 1843 Greek Revival renovated by G.P. Schafer Architect and restored by Richard Marks Restorations, along with a late 18th century Georgian home preserved by Glenn Keyes Architects and interiors by Tammy Connor Interior Design. As a part of the famous Spoleto Festival, we will enjoy an evening under the live oaks at the College of Charleston, featuring the Gullah island sounds of Ranky Tanky.
The Belmond Charleston Place, located in the heart of historic downtown Charleston, will be our "home away from home." This excursion offers history, beauty, architecture, gardens, comaraderie, and a sense of time gone by in a contemporary and flourishing city.
Trip costs include deluxe hotel accommodations, all meals, entrance fees, tips, and local transportation.
Double Occupancy is $2,150 per person and includes a $250 tax deductible donation to ICAA Southeast
