Hosted by the Chicago-Midwest Chapter
Please join the Chicago-Midwest Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art for a summer social at the Dawes House in Evanston. Cocktails and light appetizers will be served.
The Charles Gates Dawes House, home of the Evanston History Center, is a beautiful example of the architecture of the late 19th century. Designed by New York architect Henry Edwards Ficken in the French Chateau style, it's colorful masonry exterior and elaborate interior architecture combine to provide a unique experience of the Gilded Age.
Donations above and beyond the ticket price will support education programming in Chicago, including Continuing Education courses, lectures, the Regional Intensive, and New Heights. All donations are fully tax-deductible.
This event is hosted by an ICAA Chapter. Please check the Chapter website, or contact the Chapter directly, for the most up-to-date details including dates, times, and pricing.
