Hosted by the Southeast Chapter | 1 AIA CES Learning Unit|Elective
Please join ICAA Southeast for the opening of the 2023 Quattuor Lecture Series. Shawn Henderson, New York City based Interior Designer and past Shutze Award recipient will share his vision of what it means to design ‘in context.’ He will share stories from past projects and his philosophy on trusting intuition, listening to your creative voice, the importance of relationships, and how to develop a quiet design signature (no matter the style of the project). Shawn will give the audience a peek behind the curtain on some of his most successful projects, which are presented in his new book ‘Interiors in Context,’ published by Monticello Press.
Shawn Henderson has been on the leading edge of contextual design for over two decades. His work, which is synonymous with unpretentious luxury, livable sophistication, and tactile beauty is internationally acclaimed; and he’s been included in Architectural Digest’s prestigious AD100 and the Elle Decor A-List numerous times.
This lecture is hosted in collaboration with SCAD Interior Design.
A box lunch will be served prior to the lecture and Q&A and book signing will follow the discussion.
This is Part I of the ICAA Southeast Chapter's yearly Quattour Lecture Series featuring architecture, interior design, landscape, and building arts.
