This lecture will investigate the expectations of users and seekers in sacred architecture as they experience the symbiotic, optical interrelationship of architecture and interior design. It presents an exploration of the principles for creating spaces that ultimately become places of peace and spiritual enlightenment. Principles and methods include the time-honored concepts of Shibusa and of cultural, historic and thematic design elements that result in exquisite design that will stand the test of time.
