Hosted by the Chicago-Midwest Chapter's Emerging Professionals, the Luminaries
Please join the ICAA Chicago-Midwest Luminaries Young Professionals for an "illuminating" presentation on the importance of lighting design in architecture and the built environment. Leading Chicago lighting designer, Anne Kustner Haser, will share how thoughtful lighting decisions and sustainable control systems can elevate a space, while holding sacred the visual comfort and overall goals of the project. Anne will guide us through the nuanced art of a well-lit interior, as we see in-person how color temperature, beam angles, and other technical components can have an emotional impact on its users.
Anne Kustner Haser is Lighting Certified through the National Committee for the Qualification of Lighting Professionals (NCQLP). She is a member of Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) previously serving as a board member for more than 14 years, and is Technically Certified by the IES. As an associate member of the International Association of Lighting Designers, Anne strongly believes in developing the future of the lighting industry. She has taught lighting design at the college level, and currently teaches for the IES as well as presenting a variety of AIA/CES accredited programs.
This event is hosted in conjunction with our partners Lutron and Sound Specialists. Thank you to Luminaries committee member Garren Hatley for organizing this special event.
