Hosted by the Texas Chapter
Join the ICAA Texas Chapter for a celebration and showcase of New Heights students and their work.
The Texas Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art has been honored to partner with Art Educator, Casey Fallis of Alamo Heights High School Visual Arts, to develop the 2023 New Heights Program.
Through this course, Alamo Heights High School 2D Design students were introduced to the profession of architecture and learned how art can inform a design process. A backdrop of San Antonio architecture served as a model for discussions related to classical design, various building traditions, stylistic influences, and urban history patterns. The New Heights Program presented students with a new way of appreciating and observing the built environment, emphasizing the importance of design in creating meaningful spaces.
Students have performed case studies and developed Analytique compositions of local iconic heritage buildings with an exploration in watercolor wash rendering. We are proud of what the students have accomplished and hope you will join us for a celebration and showcase of their work.
This event is hosted by an ICAA Chapter. Please check the Chapter website or contact the Chapter directly for the most up-to-date details including dates, times, and pricing.
