This Historical Walking Tour of Worth Avenue will be comprised of small group outdoor lecture and instruction in the architectural style and detail of Worth Avenue, Palm Beach, Florida. We will meet at Via Amore and walk Worth Avenue with a historical lecture on the architectural history of the buildings and courtyards.
Participants will learn about Addison Mizner and the development of South Florida and Palm Beach, as well as materials, methods, and design construction systems, products, finishes, and their application to the overall aesthetic of the courtyard spaces and urban plan, and the history and historical application of the urban plan and building design of the “courtyard designs” along Worth Avenue.

Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) in architecture includes topics that relate to the structural integrity and soundness of a building or a building site.
