Hosted by the Washington Mid Atlantic Chapter
Join the ICAA Washington Mid Atlantic Chapter for a morning in Charlottesville.
The event will begin at Gaston & Wyatt, a well known regional architectural millwork company and strong supporter of the ICAA. A tour will be provided of their 50,000 square foot facility which houses engineering, production, their windows and doors showroom, and millwork shop. The group will move on to see some of Gaston & Wyatt’s work at a local estate, the V House.
The V House is the fulfillment of the owner’s lifelong dream of building a Palladian villa designed by Dalgliesh Gilpin Paxton Architects. Of the estate President Bill Clinton commented, "When I look around this beautiful house, I realize that during those eight years in the White House I was only living in ‘public housing.’"
