Florida Chapter

The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art Florida Chapter (ICAA Florida) was incorporated in 2006 and is committed to promoting and advancing the classical tradition in contemporary architecture, planning, and their allied arts and building crafts throughout the state of Florida. Comprised of five districts across the state, the ICAA Florida Chapter offers a wide array of programs that include continuing education classes, travel programs, lectures, and conferences. The ICAA Florida Chapter founded the Addison Mizner Awards program in 2012 to celebrate the achievement of the finest practitioners in the fields of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and urbanism, as well as craftsmanship and construction across the state.

Young Professionals

The Mosaics (ages 26-40) is the Florida Chapter’s group of young professionals, and the Palmettes (ages 18-25) is the Chapter's emerging professionals group, two of several active groups across the country that host social and educational events for young ICAA members to connect with fellow classicists. The emerging professionals generally welcome all ICAA members regardless of age, though eligibility requirements may vary.
