Steven W. Spandle Architect is a small, full-service architecture firm based in the New York area. Our focus is mainly in the high-end single family residential sector, with some commercial work. The firm’s design aesthetic is rooted in the practice of traditional, classical architecture. Projects are primarily on the East Coast, and range from renovation to new construction. Employees work remotely and need not be New York/New Jersey based.

We are currently seeking intermediate to senior level architects/designers to join our team. Candidates will be involved in all phases of the design process, from concept through construction administration.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Must be able to work remotely for the foreseeable future. This position is open to candidates in or outside of the New York/New Jersey area.
• Self-driven problem solver who can work independently.
• Experience detailing and producing construction documents.
• Willing to travel to job sites if/when required.
• Bachelor of Science in Architecture required, and advanced architectural degree is a plus.
• Must have strong proficiency in AutoCAD. 3-D rendering skills a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and anticipate project needs is important.
• Applicants should possess strong communication skills, a team-oriented personality, and the ability to meet the fast-paced project demands of a busy firm.
