In-House Marketing and Events Coordinator

The marketing and events coordinator is primarily responsible for planning, producing, and supervising the execution of all special events including the promotions, collateral materials, and day of event activities. Your job is to get the right people to attend. You will be expected to create materials to deliver the company's messages to the DESIGN COMMUNITY and the public. You will perform other tasks that may include planning the marketing calendar to ensure events and projects happen timely, participating in budget management and development and provide sales support for the team by organizing forecasting reports using our CRM. You must be well versed in social media campaigns and delivery methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, produce and implement a variety of special events and client gifting programs
  • Work with client tracking and CRM tools to generate, distribute, and report on leads
  • Track marketing expenditures; establish budget guidelines
  • Oversee social media campaigns, schedules and marketing platforms
  • Maintain and update showroom monitor presentation with topics and visuals changing quarterly
  • Research and analytical skills and an understanding of digital marketing tools and tactics including maintaining the company website with high awareness of SEO

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with marketing automation systems (like HubSpot); integrating those systems with other technologies
  • Research and analytical skills; a full understanding of digital marketing tools and tactics including maintaining the company website, with high awareness of SEO

This is a part-time position; work may be done remotely (excluding events.) Light travel expected, primarily to major cities in Texas.
