About the role

We are seeking experienced Intermediate (3-7 years) to Senior level Architects (8-10 years) to join the team in our Midtown Manhattan office, across from the New York Public Library.

The candidate will participate in all phases of the architectural process, technical planning, detailing and producing high quality project documents from design inception though construction completion.

Responsibilities include

  • Producing architectural drawings, documentation, and other deliverables throughout all phases of design compliant with codes, project requirements and permits.
  • Communicating with the project team, consultants, and contractors to ensure a proper coordination.
  • Attending job-site meetings, issuing supplemental instructions, and responding to requests for information.
  • Preparing materials, drawings and models for Client and agency presentations.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with high end residential projects preferred
  • Passion for design and attention to detail
  • Exceptional production skills
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture required, familiarity with building codes a plus
  • Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Suite required, Lumion and Rhino skills a plus
  • Problem solver who can work independently, on multiple projects, anticipate needs, facilitate decision-making, and enjoys working collaboratively

  • Bonuses: The firm has traditionally paid year-end bonuses to employees. These amounts have typically been performance based and are discretionary.
  • 401(k) and Profit Sharing: The firm has a 401(k) plan with a 7% company match on the first 50% of compensation as well as a Pension Profit Sharing Plan administered by Nationwide Financial

Compensation Range

  • Junior (0-3 years) $60,000 - $75,000
  • Intermediate (4-7) years $75,000 - $90,000
  • Senior (8-10 years) $90,000 - $105,000
