Description:

We are presently recruiting talented architects and designers to join our studio. Day-to-day tasks will include refining conceptual designs, creating architectural working drawings and construction details. Knowledge of traditional architecture is a plus. Applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience with the conventions of drawing and representation and with construction assemblies and detailing for both traditional and modern architecture.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work with senior architects to develop plans, elevations, sections and 3D representations.
• Develop design options and alternatives for review with senior design staff.
• Research products that meet specific design and construction requirements.
• Coordinate with interior designers, material suppliers and vendors.
• Assists project manager or job captain with scheduling, and daily production tasks.
• Provide on-going communication through team meetings/minutes/up-date memos.
• Communicate with consultants, contractors and sub-consultants as needed.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years of commercial project experience.
• Architecture Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of basic principles of architecture.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must work well independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience producing working drawings in Revit is essential.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop, MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Revit.
