Sebastian von Marschall, Architect is seeking a Project Architect with project management experience. The full-time, salary position is based in Charleston, SC, and requires excellent communication skills and a passion for traditional residential design. The position requires in person work and cannot be filled remotely. Skills required include fluency in AutoCAD (power user preferred), Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Lumion. We are a PC office - PC and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency is essential.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 Years as a Project Architect with management experience, preferable in a residential firm
• Background in Traditional/ Classical Residential Architecture preferred
• Licensed/ RA preferred
• Proficient/ familiar with building codes and construction standards

Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects from conception to final completion
• Manage project workflow and ensure project deadlines are met
• Manage company drafting and graphic standards
• Collaborate and coordinate with design consultants, including Structural Engineers, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects
• Lead site meetings with contractors, consultants and clients
• Perform regulatory reviews
• Present drawings at public hearings including Zoning and BAR meetings
• Manage client relationships
• Specify products and building systems
