Pursley Dixon Architecture is an architecture and interior design studio specializing in custom residential work. The Charlotte, North Carolina based firm is seeking a Project Architect who will share our passion to build beautiful things.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Work directly with Principals on design concepts and design development
• Coordinate with Architectural Assistants on presentation and pricing sets
• Project lead on and coordination of construction documents
• Coordinate with Architectural Assistants on project specifications
• Project lead on construction administration including shop drawing reviews and participating in site visits
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the design process

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited college/university
• Proficient in Adobe Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketch Up
• Proficient in Vectorworks, AutoCAD
• Strong hand drafting and sketching skills
• 3 - 5 years of residential design experience
  Strong communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative spirit and willingness to work with others to create legacy works of architecture
• Must love dogs
