Alex Smith Garden Design, Ltd is seeking Landscape Designers/Landscape Architects to work in our unique design/build studio environment. Successful candidates must be organized and creative with strong design and graphic skills; including ability to prepare landscape plans, draft construction details, and create mock-up graphics packages. Must be self-motivated, have a strong desire to learn, and a willingness to adapt to a multitude of varied residential projects across changing ecoregions and USDA growing zones. The marketing and events coordinator is primarily responsible for planning, producing, and supervising the execution of all special events including the promotions, collateral materials, and day of event activities. Your job is to get the right people to attend. You will be expected to create materials to deliver the company's messages to the DESIGN COMMUNITY and the public. You will perform other tasks that may include planning the marketing calendar to ensure events and projects happen timely, participating in budget management and development and provide sales support for the team by organizing forecasting reports using our CRM. You must be well versed in social media campaigns and delivery methods.

We seek an Interior Design Manager to join our team in creating beautiful spaces that respond to and support the architectural design and result in aesthetically strong, unified places which clearly communicate the brand of the institution or commercial entity. Qualities the candidate should possess include being creative, organized, can work on multiple projects at once, and be well adept at time management. Design responsibilities encompass all levels of project development, from initial planning through construction documentation, and inclusive of installation and follow up; tasks include space planning, preparation of drawings and presentation materials, furniture and finish selection, creation of finish boards, development of furniture specifications, creation of furniture and finishes budget lists, furniture procurement, furniture installation, and codification of finishes in project record books. The management of the Interiors Studio requires working with external product representatives, dealers, and manufacturers. You will be responsible for maintaining the materials library, meeting with manufacturers’ representatives to stay current on products and trends, coordinating the selection and return of samples to vendors, researching products upon team members’ request, and scheduling of lunch and learns for the architectural staff. Experience in AutoCAD/Revit, Microsoft Excel, 3D modeling/rendering (SketchUp, 3DMax), graphic design (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and a minimum of 3 years of experience is desirable.
